  • Clears voice

  • Relieves throat inflammation

  • Increases immunity

 : Effective ingredients

Echinacea angustifolia, Salvia officinalis, Menthol

 : Product type

Oral Spray 30ml

: Dosage and directions for use

To relieve sore throat and hoarseness, shake the glass well and place the nozzle in the mouth so that the nozzle tip points the throat. Then, spray directly onto the painful or inflamed area. This procedure can be applied in adults 2 sprays each time, 6 times a day unless the doctor has prescribed otherwise.

: Effect mechanism

The efficacy of Echinacea angustifolia as an immune stimulant is due to three known mechanisms: 1. Activating phagocytosis and stimulation of granulocytes; 2. Increasing leukocyte activity; 3. Increasing production of cytokines, especially Interleukin-2 and 10. Interleukin-2 enhances helper T cell activity and Interleukin-10 regulates anti-inflammatory actions. It increases interferon production and exerts an anti-influenza virus effect. The immune-stimulating effect of this plant is related to amides, alkamides, and caffeic acid derivatives, which is done through the stimulation of phagocytosis in multinucleated granulocytes. Echinacea angustifolia increases white blood cells in blood circulation. Salvia officinalis extract has been used in Europe for years as a mouthwash to relieve mouth and throat infections and is well known for its antioxidant effect. Laboratory studies have proved its antimicrobial, antifungal, antiviral, and astringent effects of this plant. The antimicrobial effect is mostly seen on gram-negative microbes such as Escherichia coli, Shigella, Salmonella, Klebsiella and gram-positive microbes such as Bacillus subtilis, Staphylococcus aureus and the antifungal effect is on Candida albicans. These effects are attributed to the β-thujone active ingredient. Thujone active agent relieves inflammation caused by pathogens due to antifungal and antimicrobial effects. At the same time, the plant’s uric acid has potent anti-inflammatory and anti-phlogistic effect. Research has shown that the anti-inflammatory effect of uric acid is twice that of indomethacin, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicine. Moreover, rosmarinic acid in Salvia officinalis extract reduces leukotriene B4 and consequently reduces inflammation.
